FAPESP selects proposals in call for Latin American Biodiversity

FAPESP announces the result of a call for proposals in partnership with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), from the United Kingdom.

The opportunity was also offered by the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientficas y Tcnicas (CONICET), from Argentina, the Comisin Nacional de Investigacin Cientfica y Tecnolgica (CONICYT), from Chile, and the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnologa e Innovacin Tecnolgica (CONCYTEC), from Peru.

The call is part of NERC’s “Latin American Biodiversity Programme”, supported in the UK through the Newton Fund.

The aim of the program is to provide trans-regional level understanding of the role of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and the services they provide.
