FAPESP and the Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (CONICYT), from Chile, announce a new joint call for proposals – the second under the cooperation agreement signed by the institutions.

The aim is to promote and strengthen the collaboration between researchers affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo and researchers from Chile. The call invites research proposals in all fields of knowledge.

FAPESP is prepared to fund up to the equivalent of up to R$ 100 mil per project/per year, approximately the same amount as CONICYT. Each side shall finance its own national research teams.

Eligibility criteria and submission rules will follow the scheme of FAPESP’s Regular Research Awards. Exceptions are described in the call for proposals.

Proposals must be submitted only to FAPESP, through SAGe system (www.fapesp.br/sage), until June 17, 2019.

The call for proposals is available at www.fapesp.br/en/12775.
