FAPESP PROASA Seminar Program for the South Atlantic and Antarctica

FAPESP: Rua Pio XI, 1.500 - Alto da Lapa, São Paulo, SP - Brazil

The purpose of this event is launching the FAPESP PROASA Program, a funding strategy to promote Ocean and Antarctic sciences, set the scene and reinforce the Ocean Agenda.

The event will cover a range of scientific themes in four sessions:

  • Clean, healthy, and resilient ocean;

  • Productive and sustainably used ocean;

  • Predictable, safe, and accessible ocean; and

  • Engaging and inspiring ocean – education, communication, different systems of knowledge, social sciences, governance.

Antarctica will be a transversal issue in these thematic sessions.
