  O Centro de Excelência para Descoberta de Alvos Moleculares (CENTD) é um centro multidisciplinar que estuda alvos moleculares de doenças inflamatórias, sediado pelo Instituto Butantan e apoiado pela FAPESP por meio do programa Centros de Pesquisa Aplicada (CPAs) em parceria com a GSK. Uma vaga de pós-doutorado (12 meses) está disponível no CENTD para trabalhar em projeto cujo objetivo é buscar novos alvos farmacológicos a partir de peptídeos anti-inflamatórios derivados de venenos animais, explorando a biologia destes peptídeos e seus efeitos in vitro em modelos celulares de inflamação e nocicepção.

  O candidato deve ter obtido o título de doutor há menos de sete anos e apresentar sólida experiência em biologia molecular, incluindo edição gênica por CRISPR/Cas9, e biologia celular, especialmente com células neuronais.

  A oportunidade está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros e a pessoa selecionada receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 12.570,00 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.   The Centre of Excellence in New Target Discovery (CENTD) is a multidisciplinary center studying molecular targets of inflammatory diseases, based at the Butantan Institute in São Paulo city, Brazil, and supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through its Applied Research Centers (ARCs) program in partnership with GSK. One 12-month post-doctoral position is offered to work on a project aimed at identifying and validating new pharmacological targets through the investigation of anti-inflammatory peptides derived from animal venoms. The activities involve exploring the biology of the peptides and their in vitro effects on cellular models of inflammation and nociception.

  Candidates must have obtained their doctorate degree within the last seven years and have solid experience in molecular biology, including gene editing by CRISPR/Cas9, and cell biology, especially with neurons.

  The opportunity is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Scholarship of R$ 12,570.00 per month, along with a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship value to cover unforeseen research-related expenses.
