• Resumo Summary

  O foco deste subprojeto é esclarecer a relação entre a microbiota comensal de animais obesos e o prognóstico de lesão renal aguda usando um organismo modelo de peixe-zebra.

  Experiência na área de biologia celular e molecular, microbiologia e imunologia – comprovada por publicação científica (artigos, teses, capítulos de livros) ou certificados –, no cuidado e manuseio de larvas e adultos de peixe-zebra, na aplicação de modelos de inflamação no rim do peixe-zebra, na geração de animais livres de germes, no desenvolvimento de transgênicos/mutantes por CRISPR-Cas9, em microscopia fluorescente, citometria de fluxo, hibridização in situ de montagem completa e cultura de células são obrigatórios. Experiência em supervisão de alunos é preferível.

  O candidato deve apresentar iniciativa, independência e automotivação na pesquisa; conhecimento avançado da língua inglesa e disponibilidade para realização de estágio científico no exterior. A experiência em diferentes laboratórios (no Brasil ou no exterior) durante a formação científica é um aspecto positivo a ser considerado no processo seletivo.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The focus of this subproject is to clarify the relationship between the commensal microbiota of obese animals and the prognosis of acute kidney injury using a zebrafish model organism. Research will be conducted at the Biomedical Sciences Institute of the University of São Paulo, Brazil.

  Experience in cell and molecular biology, microbiology and immunology, proven by scientific publication (articles, theses, book chapters) or certificates, in the care and handling of zebrafish larvae and adults, in the application of inflammation models in the kidney of zebrafish, in the generation of germ-free animals, development of transgenics/mutants by CRISPR-Cas9, fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry, full mount in situ hybridization and cell culture are mandatory. Experience in supervising students is preferable.

  The candidate must show initiative, independence and self-motivation in the research; advanced knowledge of the English language and availability to undertake a scientific internship abroad. Experience in different laboratories (in Brazil or abroad) during scientific training is a positive aspect to be considered in the selection process.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
