• Resumo Summary

  Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado FAPESP em Neurociência Translacional no Laboratório de Neurociências (LIM-27, IPq-HCFMUSP). O projeto integra dados clínico-biológicos de indivíduos euploides, com síndrome de Down (trissomia 21) e doença de Alzheimer, articulando-os com investigação experimental em modelos animais, e é conduzido no âmbito de Projeto Temático FAPESP coordenado pelo Prof. Luiz Roberto Giorgetti de Britto.

  O(A) pós-doc será responsável pelo manejo de animais geneticamente modificados; aplicação e análise de testes comportamentais (cognitivos e não cognitivos); execução e interpretação de técnicas moleculares e imunológicas (ELISA, Western Blot, qRT-PCR). Exige-se experiência sólida em pesquisa experimental, elaboração de artigos científicos, análise de dados quantitativos e fluência em inglês. Haverá possibilidade de colaboração em outros projetos.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 12.570,00 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Translational Neuroscience funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) at the Laboratory of Neurosciences (LIM-27) of the Institute of Psychiatry (IPq) linked with Hospital das Clínicas (HC), the hospital complex run by the University of São Paulo's Medical School (FM-USP) in Brazil. Carried out within the scope of a FAPESP Thematic Project coordinated by Prof. Luiz Roberto Giorgetti de Britto, this project integrates clinical and biological data from euploid individuals, patients with Down syndrome (trisomy 21) and Alzheimer’s disease, in close connection with experimental investigation in animal models.

  The post-doctoral fellow will be responsible for handling genetically modified animals; applying and analyzing behavioral tests (cognitive and non-cognitive); and performing and interpreting molecular and immunological techniques (ELISA, Western blot, qRT-PCR). Solid experience in experimental research, scientific writing, quantitative data analysis and fluency in English are required. There will be opportunities to collaborate in other research projects.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
