  Espera-se que a pesquisa de mestrado seja desenvolvida em colaboração com pesquisadores do projeto 12 do Programa de Físico Química do Research Centre for Gas Innovation - RCGI da USP (programa e projetos estão disponíveis no site do RCGI www.usp.br/rcgi). 

  O objetivo desta bolsa é treinar um excelente aluno na área de eletrocatálise e nanomateriais. Os estudos experimentais focam em elucidar a função de metais de transição na formação e atividade eletrocatalítica de sítios ativos em eletrocatalisadores baseados em carbono. Esta bolsa de mestrado faz parte de um projeto Jovem Pesquisador FAPESP associado ao RCGI. 

  Um aluno auto-motivado e interessado será selecionado para esta bolsa de estudos. A posição atual seria um aluno com conhecimentos técnicos em uma das seguintes áreas: Engenharia/Engenharia de Materiais/Física/Engenharia Química/Química. O aluno deve ter um diploma de bacharel em ciências relacionadas com química / materiais - os candidatos que completam estudos de graduação dentro deste ano (2017) também são bem-vindos para se candidatar a essa posição - e deve conhecer os polímeros nanoestruturados e a ciência dos materiais.

  This Master position is expected to be developed in collaboration with researchers from the Project 12 of the Physic Chemistry Program of the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI) at the University of São Paulo (USP) -- summary of the program and projects is found in the RCGI website at www.usp.br/rcgi.  

  The aim of the present master position is to train a highly skilled individual in the area of electrocatalysis and nanomaterials. The experimental work shall be devoted to the understanding of the role of transition metals in the formation and electrocatalytic activity of active sites in carbon-based electrocatalysts. This master scholarship is part of a FAPESP Young Investigator project within RCGI. 

  A self-motivated and interested individual will be selected for this scholarship. The present position would suite a student with a suitable organic-chemistry and/or chemistry engineering and/or materials engineering and/or physics background, who is familiar with nanostructured polymers and materials science. The student should hold a bachelor degree in chemistry/materials related sciences – candidates completing undergrad studies within this year (2017) are also highly welcome to apply for this position.
