  O(A) candidato(a) selecionado(a) terá a oportunidade única de liderar os esforços de pesquisa no desenvolvimento de reatores eletroquímicos para aplicações de interconversão entre energias. Através de suas experiência em eletroquímica, projeto de reatores e engenharia ambiental, o pós-doutorando realizará pesquisas transdisciplinares na interface da química, engenharia e ciências ambientais. A pesquisa envolverá o projeto, fabricação e caracterização de novos sistemas de reatores eletroquímicos, com foco na melhoria da eficiência, escalabilidade e sustentabilidade.

  Estamos em busca de um candidato(a) altamente motivado(a), com doutorado em Engenharia ou área relacionada, e sólida experiência em eletroquímica e projeto de reatores. O(A) candidato(a) ideal deve demonstrar proficiência em técnicas experimentais, análise de dados e sistemas eletroquímicos. Um histórico robusto de publicações e experiência em ambientes de pesquisa colaborativa são altamente desejáveis.

  O candidato selecionado irá ingressar no Centro de Pesquisa para a Inovação de Gases de Efeito Estufa (RCGI), um Centro de Pesquisa em Engenharia (CPE) constituído por FAPESP e Shell com sede na Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP).

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to lead research efforts in the development of electrochemical reactors tailored for energy interconversion applications. Leveraging expertise in electrochemistry, reactor design, and environmental engineering, the post-doctoral fellow will conduct transdisciplinary research at the interface of chemistry, engineering, and environmental sciences. The research will involve the design, fabrication, and characterization of novel electrochemical reactor systems, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

  We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. in engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in electrochemistry and reactor design. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in experimental techniques, data analysis, and electrochemical systems. Strong publication record and experience in collaborative research environments are highly desirable.

  The selected candidate will be part of the Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI), an Engineering Research Center (ERC) jointly funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and Shell and hosted by the University of São Paulo's Engineering School (POLI-USP) in Brazil.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
