Resumo
Summary
- Doutorado recente em microeletrônica em um tópico relacionado ao design analógico;
- Bons conhecimentos do idioma Inglês;
- Pelo menos uma publicação em uma revista indexada de alta qualidade na área de microeletrônica;
- Experiência com simulações de AMS;
- Experiência com design analógico / RF, layout e ferramentas;
- Excelentes habilidades de programação em Verilog-A, Matlab;
- Excelente conhecimento em algoritmos de otimização e sua aplicação no projeto de circuitos microeletrônicos;
- Experiência em testes de equipamentos eletrônicos.
O perfil requerido para o segundo candidato é:
- Doutorado recente em microeletrônica em um tópico relacionado ao design analógico;
- Bons conhecimentos do idioma Inglês;
- Pelo menos uma publicação em uma revista indexada de alta qualidade na área de microeletrônica;
- Excelente conhecimento em design de circuitos de baixo ruído;
- Bons conhecimentos do programa Cadence Analog Flow;
- Experiência com eletrônica de detetores gasosos;
- Experiência com o projeto e testes de conversores analógico-digitais;
- Experiência com layout analógico de dispositivos CMOS.
As bolsas terão duração de 24 meses. Interessados devem enviar mensagem para o Prof. Wilhelmus Van Noije: noije@lsi.usp.br.Two post-doctoral positions are open for this project. The purpose of the activities to be undertaken by the fellows is the research of new applications for the proposed ASIC of the ALICE-TPC aiming the inclusion of the technology and developed circuits in the Brazilian industry and other research centers.
The adaptation of the ASIC will involve the use of the designed functional blocks IPs such as Charge Sensitive Amplifier, Shaper Semi-Gaussian and Digital-to-Analog Converter.
The required profile for the first candidate is:
- A recent Ph.D. degree in microelectronics in a topic related to analog design;
- Good knowledge of the English Language;
- At least 1 publication in a high quality peer reviewed microelectronic journal;
- Experience with AMS simulations;
- Experience with analog/RF design and layout and tools;
- Excellent programming skills in Verilog-A, Matlab;
- Excellent knowledge in optimization algorithms and their application in design of microelectronic circuits;
- Experience in electronic testing equipment.
The required profile for the second candidate is:
- A recent Ph.D. degree in microelectronics in a topic related to analog design;
- Good knowledge of the English Language;
- At least 1 publication in a high quality peer reviewed microelectronic journal;
- Excellent knowledge in low noise circuit design;
- Good knowledge of Cadence Analog Flow;
- Experience with gaseous detector electronic;
- Experience with Analog-to-Digital converters design and test;
- Experience with analog CMOS layout.
The fellowships are for 24 months and the candidates must send a message to Prof. Wilhelmus Van Noije at the address noije@lsi.if.usp.br.
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
