  Encontra-se aberta uma posição de pós-doutorado para pesquisa em aprendizado profundo aplicado a sistemas múltiplas entradas e múltiplas saídas (MIMO) usando tecnologias de redes abertas de acesso via rádio (O-RAN). Esta é uma entre várias vagas de pós-doutorado em universidades brasileiras no âmbito do projeto “Smart 5G Core And MUltiRAn Integration” (SAMURAI).

  O principal objetivo do projeto é desenvolver um núcleo 5G escalável que permita a integração de diferentes redes de acesso sem fio, bem como desenvolver e avaliar técnicas de aprendizado de máquina/inteligência artificial aplicadas a redes 5G/6G. Os candidatos com forte experiência em redes, comunicações sem fio e aprendizado de máquina serão preferidos.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  A post-doctoral position is open for research in deep learning applied to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems using open radio access network (O-RAN) technologies. This is one of several post-doctoral positions at Brazilian universities within the scope of the “Smart 5G Core And MUltiRAn Integration” (SAMURAI) project.

  The main objective of the project is to develop a scalable 5G core that allows the integration of different wireless access networks, as well as to develop and evaluate machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques applied to 5G/6G networks. Candidates with strong experience in networking, wireless communications and machine learning will be preferred.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
