  • Resumo Summary

    O Laboratório de Estudos sobre Desenvolvimento e Interação Social do Departamento de Psicologia Experimental do Instituto de Psicologia da Universidade de São Paulo (São Paulo) busca candidatos à bolsa de pós-doutorado, interessados em realizar pesquisas sobre plasticidade comportamental. O candidato integrará a equipe do Projeto Temático “Plasticidade fenotípica de macacos-prego (gênero Sapajus): investigação sobre o efeito de trajetórias ontogenéticas distintas e de ativação contexto-dependente” (processo FAPESP 2014/13237-1), sob a coordenação da Profª Patrícia Izar.

    O candidato selecionado estará envolvido na análise de banco de dados de desenvolvimento de comportamento oriundos de registros em vídeo, avaliação de inferências baseadas nestes dados e auxílio na preparação de manuscritos. Além disso, o candidato deve ter disponibilidade para assessorar os pesquisadores principais (PIs) no andamento dos sub-projetos de pesquisa, incluindo auxílio na formação dos bolsistas de treinamento técnico e estudantes de pós-graduação envolvidos no projeto.

    Requisitos para a candidatura

    a) Ter concluído o doutoramento há menos de 7 (sete) anos numa área correlata ao estudo;
    b) Não possuir vínculo empregatício, nem recebimento de bolsa de outra entidade financiadora, salário ou remuneração decorrente do exercício de atividades de qualquer natureza;
    c) Dedicação exclusiva às atividades de apoio ao projeto de pesquisa;
    d) Disponibilidade para viagens nacionais para as áreas de pesquisa de campo.

    As inscrições deverão ocorrer exclusivamente por e-mail, com a documentação requerida enviada em arquivo formato PDF para a coordenadora do projeto, Profª Dra. Patrícia Izar (patrizar@usp.br). A data de início é flexível e a posição permanecerá aberta até que seja selecionado candidato com o perfil necessário.

    Inicialmente, os candidatos deverão se inscrever até 15 de junho de 2019. A posição está aberta para brasileiros e estrangeiros.

    Documentação necessária à inscrição

    b) Duas cartas de recomendação de pesquisadores ativos;
    c) Carta de apresentação relatando alguma experiência anterior e motivação para a candidatura de pós-doutorado em Psicologia Experimental, na qual explicite as produções decorrentes de seu trabalho de doutorado e possíveis relações com os estudos sobre plasticidade comportamental.

    Seleção

    A seleção será realizada após análise da documentação recebida. Os candidatos habilitados serão convocados para uma entrevista mediante comunicado por e-mail.

    Bolsa

    A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. A bolsa terá vigência de 12 meses, no valor mensal de R$ 7.373,10, e inclui Reserva Técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.     The Development and Social Interaction Laboratory, Department of Experimental Psychology, University of São Paulo (São Paulo) seeks applicants interested in conducting research on behavioral plasticity for the post-doctoral fellowship. The applicant will join of the team of the Thematic Project “Phenotypic Plasticity of Prick Monkeys (Sapajus genus): research on the effect of distinct ontogenetic trajectories and context-dependent activation” (FAPESP 2014 / 13237-1 process), under the coordination of Professor Patrícia Izar.

    The post-doc will work on the analysis of behavioral data from our video database, the evaluation of inferences based on these data, and assistance in the preparation of manuscripts. In addition, the post-doc must be available to assist senior researchers (PIs) on the progress of research sub-projects, including assistance in the training of technical fellows and postgraduate students working in the research project.

    Requirements for application

    a) The applicant must hold a PhD for less than 7 (seven) years in a subject area related to the study;
    b) The applicant cannot be employed nor receive a scholarship from another funding agency or any kind of income arising from activities of any nature;
    c) Exclusive dedication to the research project;
    d) Availability for national trips to the field sites.

The starting date for the job is flexible and the position will remain open until the selection of a candidate with the required profile. Initially, the deadline for applications is June 15, 2019.

    c) Letter of presentation describing previous experience and motivation for the post-doctoral application in Experimental Psychology, including the productions deriving from her/his doctoral work and possible relations with the studies on behavioral plasticity.

    Selection process

    The selection will be made after reviewing the documentation received. Qualified candidates will be invited for an interview by e-mail.

    Scholarship

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The scholarship will be valid for 12 months (monthly amount: BRL7,373.10) and includes a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
