Coordinated by Professor André Fujita, the two postdoc projects will focus primarily on the development of graph theory and computational methods with applications in real-world data from molecular biology, neuroscience, and clinical data.

This Thematic project involves research groups from several Brazilian institutions – University of São Paulo (USP), Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), São Paulo State University (UNESP) – as well as from overseas centers, such as Sorbonne Université (France), Universität Leipzig (Germany), Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), King's College London (United Kingdom) and University College London (United Kingdom).

Fellows will participate in research on the themes "A human-machine interaction approach based on the heart rate variability" and "statGraph 2.0 and massive open online course (MOOC)", with activities organized by Prof. André Fujita of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo. Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae in PDF format, a cover letter indicating which project they would like to participate in and contact information for two references using the form: https://forms.gle/U7ZsrgQJ37PAJEfV7.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of BRL 7.373,10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
