    O Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases - CRID, localizado no campus da Universidade de São Paulo - Ribeirão Preto, busca candidatos altamente motivados para oportunidade de Pós-Doutorado vinculado a projeto financiado por FAPESP e CAPES. A bolsa tem duração inicial de 2 anos.

    O(A) candidato(a) deverá ter obtido o título de Doutor a menos de 4 anos em uma das seguintes áreas: Farmacologia, Bioquímica, Biologia Celular/Molecular ou áreas afins. O(A) candidato(a) deve possuir interesse pelo trabalho na área de farmacologia molecular de receptores acoplados à proteína G (GPCRs), em especial os adrenoceptores alfa-1 nativos de músculos lisos e recombinantes humanos. É fundamental que o(a) candidato(a) tenha proficiência no isolamento e montagem de preparações de músculos lisos em banhos de órgãos, cultura celular asséptica, transfecção de células, ensaios com radioligantes (radioligand binding), ensaios de sinalização intracelular e identificação, quantificação e análise de agonismo tendencioso. Excelente comunicação oral e escrita (inglês e português) é indispensável.

    The Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases - CRID, from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto, is taking applications for a 2 years postdoctoral research position to join a project financed by FAPESP.

    The highly motivated candidate should have taken his/her PhD degree within the past 4 years in one of the following areas: Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cellular/Molecular Biology or similar fields. The candidate must be interested in the molecular pharmacology of G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs), particularly of alpha-1 adrenoceptors native from smooth muscle tissues and human recombinant receptors heterologously expressed in cell systems. The candidate must be capable of designing experiments and conducting hypothesis based on research involving isolated smooth muscle tissues in organ baths, aseptic cell culture, transfection, radioligand binding, intracellular signalling assays and identification, quantification and analysis of biased agonism. Excelent oral and writen communication skills are required.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
