  Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado FAPESP, concedida no âmbito do Centro de Pesquisas em Engenharia "Prof. Urbano Ernesto Stumpf", financiado pela FAPESP e Peugeot/Citroën do Brasil Automóveis e voltado ao estudo do emprego de biocombustíveis em transportes.

  Pós-doutorado em Motores de Combustão Interna pela Faculdade de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade de Campinas (Unicamp), Brasil

  A Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) financia o projeto “Conceptual study of an advanced ethanol-fueled engine”, em parceria com a Peugeot-Citroën. A primeira fase do projeto deve ser concluída ao final de outubro de 2018, mas o apoio da FAPESP e PSA poderá se estender até 10 anos, associado a novas etapas de pesquisa.

  O objetivo principal desta etapa do projeto é desenvolver conceitos tecnológicos aplicados a motores dedicados a etanol, que possam aumentar de forma significativa sua eficiência em todos os regimes de operação. Sob este projeto há uma (01) vaga para pós-doutor, oferecida junto ao Departamento de Energia da Faculdade de Engenharia Mecânica da UNICAMP (www.fem.unicamp.br). 

  Os candidatos devem possuir doutorado na área de Termodinâmica Aplicada – Motores de Combustão Interna – e interesse científico no uso de biocombustíveis em motores de combustão interna.

   

  Postdoctoral Fellowship in Internal Combustion Engines, to work in the Research Center for Engineering "Prof. Urbano Ernesto Stumpf”, financed by FAPESP and Peugeot / Citroen Automóveis do Brazil and focused in studies to the use of biofuels in transport.

  Post-doctoral fellowship in Internal Combustion Engines at the Energy Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil

  The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) supports the project "Conceptual study of an advanced ethanol-fueled engine”, in partnership with the PCBA. This first part of the Biofuel project is scheduled to end by November 2018, but the financial support of FAPESP and PCBA may be extended up to 2024 for new projects.

  The main objective of this project is to develop technological concepts applied to engines dedicated to ethanol, which are intended to significantly increase its efficiency in all operating regimes. Under this project there is one (01) Postdoctoral Fellowship, offered by FAPESP and to be exerted at the Department of Energy of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UNICAMP (www.fem.unicamp.br)

  Applicants must have a PhD in Internal Combustion Engines or Applied Thermodynamics, and scientific interest in the use of biofuels in internal combustion engines.

  In addition, applicants must have excellent curriculum (publications) and advanced knowledge on topics such as: engine test analysis, engine performance simulation, and advanced technologies for application in engines (downsizing, turbocharging, EGR use, variable valve systems, etc.).

  The selected candidate will be particularly involved in the development of scientific research and orientation of undergraduate and graduate students.

  Post-doctoral fellowship is valid for two (02) years with possibility of extension for another two years. The scholarship is the standard value set by FAPESP (R$ 6.819.30  and no taxes), plus transportation allowance (offset to Campinas) and installation costs.
