  • Resumo Summary

    Requisitos mínimos: (i) Doutorado em biotecnologia, biologia molecular ou área correlata, adquirido nos últimos 3 anos; (ii) Expertise em metabolômica; (iii) Experiência em análise de expressão gênica, técnicas de biologia molecular, extração e isolamento de DNA e RNA e transformação de Arabidopsis; (iv) Excelente habilidade de comunicação e escrita em inglês; (v) Independência e motivação para planejar e executar experimentos, auxiliar na preparação e redação de manuscritos; (vi) Conhecimentos de informática são altamente desejáveis.

    O PD será pago com uma bolsa da FAPESP (R$ 7.373,10 mensais), que inclui Reserva Técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa. Aberto a brasileiros e estrangeiros, o cargo estará disponível inicialmente por dois anos, sendo possível a renovação por mais um ano.

    Minimum Requirements: (i) PhD in biotechnology, molecular biology or related field, acquired in the last 3 years; (ii) Expertise in metabolomics; (iii) Experience in gene expression analysis, molecular biology techniques, DNA and RNA extraction and isolation, and Arabidopsis transformation; (iv) Excellent communication and writing skills in English; (v) Independence and motivation to plan and execute experiments, assist in the preparation and writing of manuscripts; (vi) Computer skills are highly desirable.

    Open to Brazilians and foreigners, the position will be available initially for two years, and renewable for another year. The fellow will work in Piracicaba, São Paulo State, Brazil, at the University of São Paulo’s Luiz Queiroz College of Agriculture, host institution for the project. The PD will be paid with a scholarship funded by the FAPESP, the São Paulo Research Foundation, in the amount of BRL 7,373.10 monthly. The scholarship includes a Technical Reserve equivalent to 15% of its annual amount to meet unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
