    Uma vaga de Pós-Doutorado está disponível para estudar o funcionamento do timo humano em infantes saudáveis ou afetados por cromossomopatias (síndromes de DiGeorge e Down). Esse estudo é presentemente financiado por meio do Projeto Temático "O timo humano: desenvolvimento e doenças" (FAPESP 2014/50489-9) e envolve abordagens de genômica funcional e imunopatologia.

    O candidato deve ter sólida formação em biologia celular e/ou molecular, além de familiaridade com métodos de imunopatologia. Conhecimento básico de biologia de sistemas e bioinformática é desejável. O candidato selecionado receberá bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP.

    A postdoctoral position is available to study the functioning of infant human thymus in health and in patients affected by chromosomopathies (DiGeorge and Down syndromes). This study is currently funded through the Thematic Project "The human thymus: development and diseases" (FAPESP 2014/50489-9) and encompasses functional genomics and immunopathology approaches.

    The candidate should have a strong background in cell and/or molecular biology, as well as be familiar with immunopathology methods. Basic knowledge of systems biology and bioinformatics is highly desirable. The successful applicant will receive a postdoctoral FAPESP fellowship.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
