  • Resumo Summary

    O FoRC/CEPID torna pública a abertura de processo seletivo para uma bolsa de Pós-Doutorado no tema "Extração de açúcares solúveis aplicada à purificação de polissacarídeos não amiláceos: aspectos experimentais e modelagem", junto ao Laboratório de Engenharia de Alimentos (LEA) da Escola Politécnica de São Paulo (USP). Essa pesquisa está inserida no eixo "Novas Tecnologias e Inovação".

    O bolsista de Pós-Doutorado (PD) deverá conduzir pesquisa experimental e teórica no programa correspondente, além de outras atividades esperadas de um pesquisador de Pós-Doutorado, como a disseminação dos resultados da pesquisa em periódicos e congressos científicos. O candidato aprovado deve dedicar-se exclusivamente à pesquisa, não podendo receber remuneração de qualquer outra fonte ou natureza, feitas as ressalvas aos casos previstos no termo de outorga da bolsa e somente após obtidas as autorizações necessárias.

    A oportunidade está aberta igualmente a candidatos brasileiros e estrangeiros com título de doutor obtido há menos de sete anos. Podem se candidatar à bolsa doutores com título obtido no Brasil ou no exterior, sem restrição à área em que foi obtido o título. Espera-se do candidato destacado e comprovado desempenho na área do programa. O candidato deverá ter fluência em inglês.

    São necessários para inscrição e participação no processo seletivo os seguintes documentos:

    1. Curriculum vitae em inglês, apresentando a experiência acadêmica do candidato e uma listagem de trabalhos publicados em periódicos. O currículo deve ser submetido em formato eletrônico pdf (Portable Document Format) e os artigos publicados em periódicos indexados devem ser identificados pelo seu doi quando pertinente. É facultado ao candidato apresentar cópias eletrônicas em formato pdf de trabalhos (ex. capítulos de livros) não diretamente acessíveis em bases de dados. Deve-se seguir obrigatoriamente o formato de Súmula Curricular apresentado no endereço eletrônico www.fapesp.br/5266.

    2. Cópia, em formato eletrônico pdf, de prova de que é portador de título de doutor, obtido há menos de sete anos.

    3. Pelo menos duas cartas de recomendação, em inglês ou português, de outros pesquisadores. As cartas devem ser enviadas diretamente ao FoRC, no e-mail forc@usp.br, com o assunto "Fellowship PD FoRC/CEPID - recommendation letter". As cartas devem ser enviadas em formato pdf pelos pesquisadores que fazem a recomendação (e não pelo candidato), usando um endereço de e-mail institucional (tal como pesquisador@universidade.br). Não serão consideradas válidas, por não poderem ser verificadas, recomendações enviadas de endereços de e-mail comerciais (tais como @yahoo.com ou @gmail.com).

    A avaliação das propostas será realizada pelos pesquisadores do FoRC diretamente envolvidos na execução da pesquisa, em reuniões fechadas. A decisão sobre o candidato selecionado será justificada, mas sobre ela não caberá recurso pelos candidatos não selecionados. A decisão será publicada, em formato eletrônico, até o dia 31/08/2016, no site www.usp.br/forc.

    A implantação da bolsa está condicionada à aprovação pela FAPESP do candidato selecionado. Caso a decisão seja referendada pela FAPESP, o candidato selecionado receberá bolsa no valor de R$ 6.819,30 mensais por 24 meses e reserva técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa, destinada a despesas diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa. A bolsa contempla um Auxílio Instalação para pesquisadores que precisem mudar para a cidade de São Paulo, Brasil, sede da instituição.

    The FoRC/CEPID has opened a selection process for post-doctoral fellowship in the theme "Extraction of soluble sugars applied to the purification of non-starch polysaccharides: experimental and modeling aspects", at the Laboratory of Food Engineering (LEA) in the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. This research is included in the research pillar "New Technologies and Innovation".

    The post-doctoral researcher shall conduct experimental and theoretical research in the corresponding program, besides other actives expected from a post-doc researcher, such as publishing research results in periodicals and presenting conferences in scientific meetings. Full time dedication to the research is mandatory. He or she cannot receive wages from other sources, except as stated in the research grant term, and only after necessary authorizations were obtained.

    Applicants are welcome regardless of their citizenship, country of origin or country where the Ph.D. was obtained, provided the Ph.D. was concluded less than seven years ago. There is no special requirement for the area in which the Ph.D. title was obtained. The applicant is expected to present outstanding achievement in the research area. He or she must be fluent in English.

    The following documents shall be provided by the applicant:

    1. Curriculum vitae (CV), written in English. The CV must present the academic experience of the applicant and a list of publications in scientific periodicals. It must be submitted as pdf (Portable Document Format) file. Papers published in indexed periodicals must be identified by the doi number when applicable. The applicant may present copies (also in pdf files) of other works (such as book chapters) that are not readily accessible on-line. The CV must follow strictly the template presented in the following web address www.fapesp.br/en/6351.

    2. Copy, as pdf file, of proof that the applicant holds a Ph.D. degree, and that the degree was obtained less than seven years ago.

    3. At least two recommendation letters, either in English or Portuguese, of other researchers. These letters must be sent directly to FoRC, at the e-mail address forc@usp.br, with the subject "Fellowship PD FoRC/CEPID - recommendation letter". The letters shall be sent as pdf files by the recommending researchers, and not by the applicant. They must be sent from an institutional e-mail address (such as researcher@university.edu). Recommendations sent from commercial e-mail addresses (such as @yahoo.com or @gmail.com) will not be considered, as they cannot be verified.

    All applications will be evaluated by the researchers of FoRC directly involved in the planned research, in closed meetings. The non-selected applicants are not entitled to appeal from the decision of the selection committee. The decision of the selection committee will be properly justified, and will be published in electronic format, by 08/31/2016 in the website www.usp.br/forc.

    The selected applicant will be entitled to receive the grant if the decision is ratified by FAPESP. If the decision is approved, the selected applicant will receive Post-Doctorate Fellowship support from FAPESP, amounting to R$ 6,819.30 per month for 24 months, with an additional grant (research contingency funds) to be used strictly to cover expenses directly related to the research. The fellowship features a setup support for researchers who need to move to the city of São Paulo, Brazil, the institution's headquarters.
