• Resumo Summary

  Esta vaga inclui as responsabilidades de TI abrangidas pelo grupo de pesquisa do hub de agricultura e saúde da UNICAMP. A pessoa que assumir a vaga irá supervisionar e manter o sistema de LIMS (caderno eletrônico de laboratório), realizar a manutenção de servidor, da rede interna, de desktops do grupo e da integração de resultados de equipamentos nos sistemas de backups.

  A pessoa escolhida irá interagir com o grupo multidisciplinar de pesquisadores (técnicos, alunos e pós-docs) exercendo atividade de liderança de TI no grupo e em treinar as pessoas do grupo nos aspectos básicos e necessários. Inclui possibilidade de participar nos projetos de bioinformática.

  Neste grupo manipulamos grande volume e variedade de dados genômicos e de biologia estrutural e esperamos criatividade e experiência em data mining.

  Pré-requisitos

  Bolsa TT-V se aplica a pessoa graduada, especialista em Tecnologia de Informação (TI) com formação em Ciência da Computação, Engenharia ou áreas correlatas, pelo menos cinco anos de experiência após a graduação ou título de doutorado. 

  Experiência

  • Experiência na administração de infraestrutura de servidores e VMs (incluindo update de segurança, mudanças de sistema operacional, atualizações e migrações);
  • Experiência no desenvolvimento de scripts para integrar output de dados de equipamentos, usando por exemplo Python ou JAVA;
  • Administração de sistemas Linux;
  • Experiência com implantação e administração de bancos de dados (mySQL e ORACLE);
  • Capacidade de trabalhar em equipe;
  • Ter inglês para leitura e escrita;
  • Disponibilidade de 40h semanais.

  The Genomic for Climate Change Centere (GCCRC) – a joint research initiative between the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) and the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with co-funding from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and whose main objective is the study of genetic adaptations of plant species to the stresses imposed by global climate change – offers a technical training position with FAPESP scholarship.

  The GCCRC operates on the basis of an agricultural biotechnology pipeline, which focuses on the creation of assets that will be transferred to society and the agricultural sector, that includes several stages from the identification of candidate genes to proof of concept in field conditions, involving a strong international network of collaborators, with academic and private partners. To achieve its objectives, the GCCRC has a multidisciplinary research team, with a great technical capacity, covering all stages of the research pipeline. 

  This position is an opportunity for a level 5 technical training (TT-V), offering an unique shot for candidates with experience in information systems management. The selected candidate will support the entire operation of the center, managing the entire IT infrastructure of the GCCRC, which includes high-performance clusters, laboratory information management system, purchase and inventory management, hosted websites integrated with databases (mySQL), Big Data solutions (storage, backup, security protocols, etc.), and installation and maintenance of Bioinformatic packages. You will also participate in planning and executing expansions in the current system. The selected TT-V candidate will integrate our Bioinformatics team and handle different structures and volumes of data, and so critical thinking and creative solutions to problem-solving are expected. 

  Prerequisites:

  TT-V scholarship applies to a graduate, Information Technology (IT) specialist with a background in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, at least five years of experience after graduation or doctoral degree. 

  It is desirable that the candidate has: 

  • Experience in infrastructure administration of servers, network assets, and VMs (including security updates, operating system changes, upgrades, and migrations);
  • Experience in the development of scripts and systems for automation of system and network administration activities, using Python, JAVA, stackstorm, or other technologies;
  • Experience in the administration of UNIX systems;
  • Experience in the administration of IPv4 and IPv6 networks and protocols;
  • Experience with virtualized environments and containers (Swarm);
  • Experience with programming, preferably in two of the following languages: Python, Perl, JAVA, bash, Ruby, R;
  • Experience with database deployment and administration (mySQL);
  • Experience with using git, automation, preferably using Ansible and StackStorm;
  • Ability to work as a team;
  • Have English skills for reading and writing;
  • Availability of 40h per week.
