  • Resumo Summary

    O Grupo de Dinâmica Orbital e Planetologia oferece quatro bolsas de pós-doutoramento da FAPESP junto ao Projeto Temático "Dinâmica de Pequenos Corpos".

    Os candidatos devem ter experiência em aplicações de Dinâmica Planetária e/ou Dinâmica de Sondas Espaciais. Os projetos deverão ser desenvolvidos na Unesp, campus de Guaratinguetá, ou no INPE de São José dos Campos. 

    Os projetos a serem desenvolvidos são:
    - Acoplamento Spin-Órbita em Dinâmica do Sistema Solar.
    - Problemas em dinâmica orbital envolvendo pequenos corpos sujeitos a encontros próximos gravitacionais.
    - Dinâmica de anéis planetários estreitos e pequenos satélites.
    - Análise de atitude e órbita para uma missão a um asteroide triplo.

    The Group of Orbital Dynamics & Planetology invites applications for post-doc positions. There are 4 positions that will be funded by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation). 

    The candidates must have experience on Planetary Dynamics and/or Spacecraft Dynamics. The projects to be developed are the following: 

    - Spin-orbit coupling in solar system dynamics;
    - Problems in orbital dynamics involving small bodies under gravitational close approaches; 
    - Dynamics of narrow planetary rings and small satellites; 
    - Attitude and orbit analysis for a mission to a triple asteroid system.

    The projects will be developed in one of the following institutions: 
    I) São Paulo State University - UNESP in Guaratinguetá;
    II) National Institute for Space Research - INPE in São José dos Campos.
     
    Applicants should send a statement of research interest and a curriculum vitae with a list of publications to Prof. Othon Winter (ocwinter@gmail.com).

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
