  • Resumo Summary

    O Centro CEPID "Center for Computational Engineering and Sciences" da Unicamp busca candidados bem qualificados a bolsa de pós-doutoramento para atuar na área de modelagem computacional de sistemas moleculares, com enfoque em estudos da arquitetura molecular da parede celular de plantas e dos fatores moleculares associados à sua estabilidade termoquímica, bem como em estudos das propriedades dinâmicas e estruturais de enzimas degradadoras de biomassa ligno-celulósica de interesse para a área de bioenergia. 

    A posição está aberta para início imediato. O pesquisador deverá aplicar métodos de simulação molecular computacional em multi-escala, incluindo dinâmica molecular atomística e de coarse-graining, assim como métodos 3D-RISM de equações integrais, para os estudos dos sistemas de interesse.

    The "Center for Computational Engineering and Sciences" at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), located in Campinas, Brazil, is seeking applications for a post-doctoral position available in the area of computational molecular sciences. 

    The project is focused on the molecular modeling of plant cell wall architecture, the molecular aspects associated with its structural and thermochemical strengths, as well as the dynamical properties of carbohydrate modifying enzymes of interest to the production of biofuels from ligno-cellulosic biomass. 

    The position is available to start immediately. The selected candidate is expected to apply multiple methods of computational molecular modeling techniques, including atomistic and coarse-grained MD simulations, enhanced and accelerated sampling techniques, as well as 3D-RISM integral equation approaches to the systems of interest. 

    The Center for Computational Engineering & Sciences (CCES) at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) is an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to the development and application of advanced computational modeling techniques to solve a variety of frontier problems in science and engineering that require high-performance and data-intensive computing.
