  O Departamento de Patologia da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo (FMVZ-USP), Brasil, está à procura de um pesquisador de Pós-Doutorado motivado (h/m) para apoiar a sua pesquisa em Hepatologia Experimental. 
  
  Descrição do trabalho 
  - Você estará envolvido no projeto "CONNECT", financiado pela "Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo" (FAPESP), que investiga o potencial dos canais de conexinas e panexinas como alvos terapêuticos e biomarcadores em doenças hepáticas. 
  - O seu trabalho científico deverá resultar em vários artigos publicados em revistas internacionais. 
  - Você irá auxiliar na orientação dos estudantes de doutorado. 
  
  Perfil
  - Possuir doutorado em ciências veterinárias, ciências biomédicas, ciências farmacêuticas ou equivalente. 
  - Ser uma pessoa dinâmica e flexível.
  - Ser capaz de trabalhar de forma independente, mas ao mesmo tempo como membro da equipe, e com precisão. 
  - Ter fluência no inglês falado e escrito. 
  - Conhecimento da língua portuguesa é um atrativo. 
  
  Oferta

  - Um contrato de 2 anos como pesquisador de pós-doutorado em tempo integral na USP, em São Paulo-Brasil, renovável em caso de avaliação positiva (4 anos no total).

  The Department of Pathology of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, is looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher (m/f) to support their experimental hepatology research. 
  
  Job description 
  - You will be involved in the “CONNECT” project, funded by the “Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo” (FAPESP), which investigates the potential of connexin and pannexin channels as drug targets and biomarkers in liver diseases. 
  - Your scientific work should result in several manuscripts published in international peer-reviewed journals.
  - You will assist in the supervision of PhD students. 
  
  Profile 
  - You hold a PhD in veterinary sciences, (bio)medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent. 
  - You are a dynamic and flexible person. 
  - You are able to work independently, yet as team member, and accurately. 
  - You have a good knowledge of the English language both written and oral. 
  - Knowledge of the Portugese language is an asset.
   
  Offer

  - A 2-year contract as a full-time postdoctoral researcher at the USP in São Paulo-Brazil renewable in case of a positive evaluation (4 years in total).
