  ÁREA DE ATUAÇÃO
  Participação do sistema renina-angiotensina na capacidade de regeneração tubular por um processo de reepitelização e restauração do fenótipo epitelial. 
  
  RESUMO
  O Projeto Temático intitulado “Sistema renina angiotensina e calicreína cininas na hipertensão, obesidade, diabetes, desnutrição e sepses: mecanismos moleculares, celulares e fisiopatológicos”, financiado pela FAPESP, tem uma posição de pós-doutorado aberta para processo seletivo. 
  
  O Sistema Renina Angiotensina (SRA) é reconhecido como um poderoso determinante da homeostase e da hemodinâmica renal e cardiovascular, e sua relação com diferentes processos fisiopatológicos ainda não é bem compreendida. 
  
  A influência do SRA sobre as funções cardiovasculares e renais é extremamente ampla e complexa, envolvendo múltiplos mediadores, receptores e mecanismos variados. 
  
  Este projeto temático visa dar continuidade e propor novos estudos sobre o papel desse sistema nos processos fisiopatológicos como a regeneração renal nesse modelo aqui proposto. Dessa forma, o subprojeto ao qual está vinculada a presente posição de pós-doutorado, tem por objetivos: 
  
  1) avaliar recuperação da função renal após transplante da MA; 
  
  2) determinar o papel regenerativo da MA e sua influência no desencadeamento da fibrose tardia e capacidade de regeneração tubular por um processo de reepitelização; 
  
  3) verificar possível influência do sistema renina angiotensina (SRA) nesse processo regener ativo após utilização da membrana amniótica. 
  
  O profissional a ser selecionado para essa posição deverá ter sólida formação em fisiologia renal e mecanismos de regeneração tecidual, com experiência em transplante e com conhecimentos sobre o sistema renina angiotensina. É também desejada experiência em análise e processamento de sinais biológicos, sobretudo análise da pressão arterial e em técnicas de análises histológica e molecular.

  AREA OF OPERATION
  Involvement of renin- angiotensin system in tubular regeneration capacity through a process of re-epithelialization and restoration of epithelial phenotype.

  SUMMARY
  The thematic project entitled "Renin angiotensin and kallikrein kinin in hypertension, obesity, diabetes, malnutrition and sepsis: molecular mechanisms, cellular and pathophysiological", financed by FAPESP, has a postdoctoral position open for selection process. 
  
  The Renin Angiotensin System (RAS) is recognized as a powerful determinant of homeostasis and renal and cardiovascular hemodynamics, and its relationship with different pathophysiological processes is not well understood. 
  
  The influence of the RAS on cardiovascular and renal functions is extremely complex, involving multiple mediators, receptors and varied mechanisms. 
  
  This thematic project aims to continue and propose further studies on the role of this system in the pathophysiological processes such as renal regeneration in this proposed model. Thus, the subproject which links to this post- doctoral position, has the following objectives: 
  
  1) to evaluate recovery of renal function after transplantation MA;
   
  2) determine the regenerative role of MA and its influence in triggering late fibrosis and capacity tubular regeneration through a process of re-epithelialization;
   
  3) verify the possible influence of the renin angiotensin system (RAS) in this regenerative process after use of amniotic membrane. 
  
  Professional to be selected for this position must have strong background in renal physiology and mechanisms of tissue regeneration with expertise in transplantation and with knowledge of the renin angiotensin system. It is also desired experience in analysis and processing of biological signals, especially blood pressure analysis and techniques of histological and molecular analyzes.
