  O CCES (Center for Computing in Engineering and Sciences – https://cces.unicamp.br) busca candidatos bem qualificados para preencherem até 02 (duas) vagas de pós-doutorado com Bolsa FAPESP. Os candidatos aprovados deverão desenvolver pesquisas de alto nível em simulações computacionais/modelagem molecular de sistemas biomoleculares com ênfase em enzimas ativas sobre biomassa lignocelulósica e a nanoarquitetura da parede celular de plantas.

  Um dos Centros de Pesquisa, Inovação e Difusão apoiados pela FAPESP, o CCES é sediado pelo Instituto de Química da Unicamp.

  Os candidatos devem possuir doutorado – concluído antes da data de início – em qualquer uma das seguintes áreas e áreas afins: química, física, biologia, engenharia ou ciência da computação. Uma sólida formação e experiência em simulações de dinâmica molecular de proteínas são obrigatórias. Outras habilidades de modelagem computacional, incluindo bioinformática e programação são altamente desejáveis.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The Center for Computing in Engineering and Sciences - https://cces.unicamp.br – seeks well-qualified candidates to fill up to 02 (two) post-doctoral positions with fellowships granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Successful candidates are expected to conduct high-level research in computer simulations/molecular modeling of biomolecular systems with an emphasis on active enzymes on lignocellulosic biomass and the nanoarchitecture of the plant cell wall.

  One of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by FAPESP in the state of São Paulo (Brazil), CCES is hosted by the Institute of Chemistry of the University od Campinas (IQ-UNICAMP).

  Candidates must hold a PhD – completed before the starting date – in any of the following and related fields: chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, or computer science. A solid background and experience in molecular dynamics simulations of proteins are mandatory. Other computer modeling skills including bioinformatics and programming are highly desirable.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
