  Uma oportunidade de pós-doutorado com bolsa da FAPESP, vinculada ao Projeto Temático “Nanopartícula de óxido de zinco como alimento funcional”, está com inscrição aberta até 31 de março de 2021.

  As atividades serão conduzidas no Laboratório de Helmintologia Veterinária do Instituto de Biociências da Universidade Estadual Paulista (IBB-UNESP) em Botucatu- SP, sob supervisão do Prof. Alessandro F. T. do Amarante. A bolsa da FAPESP será vinculada ao Projeto Temático supracitado, coordenado pelo Prof. Helder Louvandini.

  O bolsista participará de pesquisa que tem como objetivo estabelecer a relação entre o fornecimento da nanopartícula de zinco e a eficiência da resposta imunológica contra a infecção por Haemonchus contortus em ovinos.

  O candidato irá trabalhar em experimentos que envolverão infecção artificial, determinação da carga parasitária e análises imuno-histoquímicas.

  O candidato deve ter defendido doutorado dentro do período de cinco anos em Ciência Animal ou áreas afins, com experiência no desenvolvimento de estudos com Haemonchus contortus e imuno-histoquímica.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  A post-doctoral opportunity in Brazil with a scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), linked to the Thematic Project “Nanoparticle of zinc oxide as a functional feed”, is open for registration until March 31, 2021.

  The activities will be conducted at the Veterinary Helminthology Laboratory of the Biosciences Institute of the São Paulo State University (IBB-UNESP) in Botucatu, under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro F. T. do Amarante. The FAPESP scholarship will be linked to the aforementioned Thematic Project coordinated by Prof. Helder Louvandini.

  The fellow will participate in research that aims to establish the relationship between the supply of the zinc nanoparticle and the efficiency of the immune response against infection by Haemonchus contortus in sheep.

  The candidate will work on experiments that will involve artificial infection, determination of the parasite load and immunohistochemical analyzes.

  The candidate must have defended his doctorate within five years in Animal Science or related fields, with experience in developing studies with Haemonchus contortus and immunohistochemistry.
