  O Projeto InterSCity (interscity.org) está buscando pesquisadores em nível de pós-doutorado para realizar pesquisa científica avançada em temas relacionados à Internet do Futuro e Cidades Inteligentes. 

  Esta chamada específica irá selecionar candidatos para trabalhar nas universidades ligadas ao INCT da Internet do Futuro para Cidades Inteligentes no Estado de São Paulo (USP, UNICAMP, Unifesp or UFABC). 

  As áreas de interesse incluem: 

  - Aprendizado de Máquina e IA;
  - Segurança e Privacidade para IoT e Cidades Inteligentes;
  - Modelagem, Análise e Visualização de Big Data;
  - Redes, 5G e Fog;
  - Simulação de Cidades Inteligentes;
  - Engenharia de Software;
  - Plataformas escaláveis de Middleware para Cidades Inteligentes e IoT;
  - Segurança e execução segura de código em dispositivos e sistemas de IoT;
  - Computação paralela e gerenciamento de recursos para ambientes de IoT, Nuvem e Fog

  Bolsas

  Os candidatos selecionados receberão uma bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP (bolsas TT-5 e TT-4 também estão disponíveis).

  The InterSCity project seeks post-doctoral researchers and advanced technical training fellows to work on themes related to the Future Internet and Smart Cities. InterSCity is a large consortium of researchers from top Brazilian universities, working in the fields of Distributed Systems, Middleware, Networking, Software Engineering and other areas related to the Future Internet and Smart Cities.

  This call will select candidates interested in receiving a Fellowship from FAPESP to carry out advanced scientific research in a university in the State of São Paulo, Brazil (USP, UNICAMP, Unifesp or UFABC). 

  InterSCity is seeking proactive, energetic researchers to tackle research challenges in multiple aspects of Smart Cities science and technology including, but not limited to, the following: 

  - Machine Learning and Artificial Inteligence;
  - Security and Privacy in IoT and Smart Cities;
  - Mathematical Modeling, Analysis, and Visualization of Big Data;
  - Networking, 5G, Fog Computing;
  - Smart City Simulation;
  - Software Engineering for Future Internet and Smart City applications;
  - Scalable Middleware Platforms for IoT and Smart Cities;
  - Security and Secure Code Execution in IoT devices and systems;
  - Parallel Computing and Resource Allocation for IoT in Cloud and Fog environments

  The Fellowships 

  Selected candidates will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Fellowship or a FAPESP Technical Training Fellowship to work collaboratively with other members of the InterSCity group in a university in the state of São Paulo. The specific university (USP, Unicamp, Unifesp, UFABC) will depend on the chosen research topic and on the interest of the candidate. 

  The FAPESP Post-Doctoral Fellowship includes a monthly stipend of R$ 7.174,40 (~USD 2310,00)

  + R$ 1076/month for associated research costs + (one time payment of R$ 7.174,40 + air ticket) to cover the expenses to move to São Paulo (see www.fapesp.br/en/5427 for further info) and can last for 1, 2, or 3 years. 

  The FAPESP Technical Training Fellowship includes either a monthly stipend of R$ 7.174,40 (for candidates with either 5-year experience on IT after completion of the 1st higher-education degree or a Doctoral Degree) or R$ 3.021,60 (for candidates with either 2-year experience on IT after completion of the 1st higher-education degree or a Masters Degree).
