  • Resumo Summary

    O Instituto Brasileiro de Neurociência e Neurotecnologia (BRAINN), localizado no campus da UNICAMP em Campinas, SP, procura candidatos a bolsa de Pós-Doutorado, financiada pela FAPESP, no âmbito de projeto CEPID. A bolsa tem duração inicial de dois anos.

    O(a) candidato(a) deverá ter obrigatoriamente graduação em biologia ou ciências biológicas e experiência de pesquisa na área de análise de dados biológicos complexos. O(a) candidato(a) deve ter obrigatoriamente experiência com programação em R, modelagem matemática e estatística de sistemas biológicos complexos e análise de dados de proteômica. Candidatos(as) devem ter concluído o doutorado há não mais que 4 anos e demonstrar capacidade de gerar produção científica, tendo publicado pelo menos dois artigos em periódicos científicos com revisão por pares.

    The Brazilian Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (BRAINN), Campinas, SP, Brazil, is seeking postdoctoral candidates with a B.Sc. degree in biology and research experience in the analysis of complex biological data.

    More specifically, the candidate must have knowledge in R programing, mathematical and statistical modeling of complex biological systems and analysis of proteomics data. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree by the time of application obtained in the last 4 years and show good scientific communication skills by having published at least two papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Language requirements: proficiency in English, Portuguese or Spanish.

    Funds are available for an initial 2 years period. Please send CV and 2 recommendation letters to icendes@unicamp.br, until September 20, 2016.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
