  A Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) financia o projeto "Contribuição para produção de bioenergia pela América Latina, Caribe e África ao projeto GSB - LACAf I - Cane" (http://bioenfapesp.org/gsb/lacaf/). O objetivo principal deste projeto é explorar possibilidades para a produção de bioenergia a partir de cana-de-açúcar de forma sustentável em países em desenvolvimento.
  
  No âmbito do Projeto LACAf, duas (02) vagas para pós-doutores estão sendo oferecidas junto ao Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Planejamento Energético - NIPE (www.nipe.unicamp.br).
  
  Os candidatos devem ter doutorado, obtido a partir de 2010, nas áreas de agronomia, engenharia ou economia, e interesse científico na produção de etanol de cana-de-açúcar na América Latina e África. Adicionalmente, os interessados devem ter excelente currículo (publicações) e conhecimento avançado em temas como análise de dados, sustentabilidade, bioenergia e cana-de-açúcar. Os candidatos selecionados terão a oportunidade de trabalhar com especialistas em diferentes áreas do conhecimento.
  
  As bolsas de Pós-Doutorado são no valor de R$ 6.819,30, mais 15% de reserva para custeio de outras atividades relacionadas à pesquisa.
  
  Bolsa 1: Produção Sustentável de Cana-de-Açúcar para Bioenergia: Análise Integrada de Modelos de Produção.
  Período: agosto/2016 a fevereiro/2017 (7 meses).
  
  Bolsa 2: Avaliação do Potencial de Produção Sustentável de Bioenergia de Cana-de-Açúcar na América Latina e África.

  The São Paulo Research Foundation - FAPESP funds the project entitled "Contribution to the production of bioenergy from Latin America, Caribbean and Africa - LACAf-I" (http://bioenfapesp.org/gsb/lacaf/). The main objective of this project is to evaluate possibilities for Latin American and African countries to produce sugarcane bioenergy on a sustainable basis without affecting food security.
  
  Under LACAf-I, two postdoctoral positions are open at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Energy Planning - NIPE (www.nipe.unicamp.br), State University of Campinas (Unicamp), for young researchers (Ph.D. obtained from 2010 onwards) graduated in the fields of agronomy, engineering and economics, with strong research interest in the production of ethanol from sugarcane in Latin America and Africa.
  
  Strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of bioenergy and sustainability issues, plus the ability to work independently will be highly appreciated. Applicants should have an excellent publication record in scientific journals, conferences, etc. Successful candidates will be engaged in the design and implementation of scientific research with strong emphasis on dissemination (publication). Young scientists will also have the opportunity to work with leading experts in different fields of knowledge combined with a learning platform to launch their research careers.
  
  The fellowship includes a tax-free monthly stipend of R$ 6,819.30, plus 15% of the yearly value for research related expenses.
  
  Fellowship 1: Sustainable production of sugarcane for bioenergy: Integrated analysis of production models.

  Fellowship 2: Assessment of potential for sustainable production of sugarcane bioenergy in Latin America and Africa.
