Roberto M. Cesar Jr. received a B.Sc. in Computer Science, UNESP, a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, UNICAMP, and a PhD in Computational Physics, USP. He was a research visitor at UCL- Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, at ENST-Paris, France and UCSB, CA, US.
He is currently a Full-professor at IME-USP. His main research interests are in Pattern Recognition and applications in Computer Vision and Computational Biology. He is currently Full-professor at the Department of Computer Science of IME - USP.
