First call of eScience program selects four proposals

The new program selects four proposals involving collaborative research, which will bring advances in both Computer Science and other knowledge domains

FAPESP announces the result of a call for research proposals for the new Research Program on eScience. Four proposals were selected and will be funded.

The main goal of the eScience program is to encourage bold, novel, and unconventional approaches to world class multidisciplinary research involving joint collaboration of computer scientists and researchers in other domains. eScience is concerned with joint exploration of how advances in Computer Science research can help face core science and technology challenges in other fields, and vice-versa.
