The São Paulo Research Foundation - FAPESP and the University of Glasgow (UoG), Scotland, signed an agreement to implement academic cooperation between researchers from UoG and from the State of São Paulo, Brazil, through the funding of joint research projects.
Areas of interest can be specified in the calls for research proposals.
For each research project approved, UoG will assume the funding of research teams from Scotland, and FAPESP of research teams from the State of São Paulo, in all cases according to their national rules and regulations and budget availability.
Under this agreement, UoG will contribute up to £100,000.00 (one hundred thousand pounds sterling) and FAPESP will contribute with the equivalent in Brazilian Reais to up to £100,000.00 (one hundred thousand pounds sterling) for funding of collaborative research activities.
Agreement signed on November 28, 2014, with a validity of five years.
