FAPESP and the Universidad de la Frontera, Temuco, Chile, signed a cooperation agreement to implement scientific and technological cooperation between researchers from Chile and from the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil, through the funding of joint research projects.
For each of the research projects that are approved, The UFRO will assume the funding of research teams from Chile and FAPESP of the research teams of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in all cases according to their national rules and regulations and budget availability.
UFRO will contribute with up to U$20,000 (twenty thousand Dollars) per selected proposal and FAPESP will contribute with the equivalent in Brazilian Reais to up to U$20,000 (twenty thousand Dollars) per selected proposal for funding of collaborative activities under this Agreement.
