FAPESP and University of Surrey issue call for proposals The call is open to all fields of knowledge and will select one project of collaborative research between researchers from the State of São Paulo and the British institution (photo: University of Surrey)

FAPESP and the University of Surrey (UK) jointly announce a call for proposals directed to support projects of collaborative research in all fields of knowledge.

The opportunity is directed to researchers affiliated to higher education and research institutes in the State of São Paulo in partnership with researchers affiliated to the University of Surrey. The announcement is launched as part of their accord on scientific collaboration.

This call will selected one project and provide funding for a period of up to two years. FAPESP is prepared to fund the selected proposal for the equivalent amount up to a total of R$ 200.000,00. University of Surrey is prepared to fund the project with a total of up to GBP £40,000.

Researchers are considered elegible as long as they follow the guidelines of the Regular Research Grant.

Researchers from State of São Paulo must submit their research project along with all information and documents required on the SAGe system. The British counterpart researchers must also apply using the University’s respective contact.

The deadline for submission of proposals is June 4th, 2018.
