FAPESP launches call for proposals with IDRC, from Canada Institutions will fund collaborative research projects on the theme "Marginalized Youth and Economic Opportunities" (photo: World Bank)

FAPESP and Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) announce the first call for proposals under the agreement signed by the institutions. 

The call invites submissions by researchers affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo in partnership with researchers affiliated with higher education and research institutions from other regions of Brazil, or from any other Latin American and Caribbean country.

With focus on the theme “Marginalized Youth and Economic Opportunities”, the call aims to support the generation and systematization of knowledge and innovation to foster economic inclusion for marginalized youth.

Proponents must follow the guidelines of the Public Policies Program (www.fapesp.br/politicaspublicas, in Portuguese) and check the eligibility of their proposals with FAPESP and IDRC. 

Eligibility consultations will be received by e-mail until April 30, 2018.

Researchers with pre-approved submissions will be able to send complete proposals until June 15, 2018, via SAGe (www.fapesp.br/sage).
