FAPESP and the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) announce the second call for proposals under the scientific cooperation agreement signed by the institutions.

The call invites joint research proposals related to sustainable agriculture; food production (sustainability of processes and materials, saving energy and reducing waste); use/processing of sustainably produced biomass to make biobased products; and development of sustainable bioproducts.

Eligibility criteria and funding rules will follow the scheme of FAPESP’s Regular Research Awards (www.fapesp.br/apr). Exceptions are described in the call for proposals.

Researchers from the State of São Paulo must consult FAPESP regarding their eligibility until April 16, 2018.

Eligible investigators will be individually contacted by FAPESP for further instructions on how to submit complete proposals through a SAGe system specific procedure.

The maximum allowable budget is up to R$ 100.000,00 (one hundred thousand reais) per year.
