Human Resources Training for Research Support

The Human Resources Training for Research Support, started in 1996, aims to train and increase the skills of technicians and students on medium and higher level (recently graduated) technical courses who are involved in support activities on research projects being carried out in the State of São Paulo, financed by FAPESP.

By means of fellowships and financial support for the setting up and organization of courses and traineeships, the program seeks:

To promote the training of technicians of medium and higher level (recently graduated) for later entry into the labor market, adding value to the skills obtained in technical schools of medium level and in institutions of higher education.

To promote greater skills in technicians of medium and higher level (recently graduated), involved in research projects financed by FAPESP, within its various programs. To guarantee technical support for research projects supported by FAPESP.

The fellowships will be awarded exclusively as a complement to FAPESP research projects and may only be taken advantage of in the period while these projects are running.
