Fernando Menezes is Full Professor in the Department of State Law of the University of São Paulo’s Law School (FD-USP).
He is a former São Paulo State Undersecretary of Science, Technology & Economic Development (2004-06) and a former advisor to the President of FAPESP (2007-16). He is currently Comptroller General of the University of São Paulo (USP) for the biennium 2016-17.
He is a former visiting professor at the University of Lyon, France, and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is a Knight (Chevalier) of France’s Ordre des Palmes Académiques and a former member of the Scientific Board of Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (2014-16).
