The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the British Council announce a new call for proposals to support the organization of short courses for the development of professional communication skills under the Researcher Connect program.

The call for proposals is supported by the Newton Fund. The same opportunity is being offered in other Brazilian states by the state research foundations (FAPs) which participate in the call, with articulation by the Brazilian National Council of State Research and Innovation Support Foundations (CONFAP).

The modules will be held in English, during three days. Up to 20 researchers can take part in each course.

The course options are: “Focus on writing”, “Focus on collaborative research and funding” e “Focus on core academic skills”.

All courses must take place between August 1, 2017 and March 16, 2018. The submission deadline for proposals is June 11, 2017.

FAPESP and the other FAPs will provide funding of up to R$ 12,500 per course.
