Amendment No. 4 to
RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN FAPES AND MICROSOFT CORPORATION
The following Amendment No. 4 to the Research and Collaboration Agreement is entered into by and between State of São Paulo Research Foundation (hereinafter "FAPESP"), and Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”) and amends the Collaboration Agreement as follows:
WHEREAS, the FAPESP and Microsoft are parties to that certain Research and Collaboration Agreement dated as of March 01, 2012,
WHEREAS, the FAPESP and Microsoft desire to amend the AGREEMENT to reflect changes of the financial contribution of each Party,
The parties hereby agree as follows:
1. The contributions according to Clause 3 of the Agreement, as amended by the terms of Amendment 1, 2 and 3 is added US$ 500,000.00, being US$ 250,000.00 contributed by Microsoft and the equivalent of US$ 250,000.00 contributed by FAPESP, according to clauses 3.1 and 3.2 of said Agreement.
2. Except as specifically amended hereby, the terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this AGREEMENT Amendment to be duly executed as of the date first written above.
