Rosa Fátima de Souza Chaloba

She is full Professor at the Science and Letters Faculty, São Paulo State University (Unesp) at Araraquara; Professor of the Graduate Program in Education at the same University at Marilia Campus. Graduated in Pedagogy (1982) by the Federal University of Uberlândia; Master´s Degree in Education by University of Campinas (Unicamp) ( 1992); Doctor´s Degree in Education by University of São Paulo (USP) ( 1997). Post Doctoral studies at the State University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA (2001); free Professor in the History of Education by the Unesp Faculty of Science and Letters (2006).

She was visiting Scholar at the Santiago de Compostela University, Spain and at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. She is researcher at the Investigation Laboraty: Gender, Interculturality and Human Rights (LIGIDH) attached to the Colegio de San Luis de Potosí (Cosan), (México); President of the Brazilian Society of the History of Education (term of office: 2019 2021 ).

Carries out research in the History of Education, focussing mainly on the following themes: School Culture ; the History of Primary and Secondary School Education as well as the History of the Curriculum; Subject Culture; Centres for Documentation and Schooling heritage history. She is Productivity Resarcher of National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) ( level 1B) and integrated the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) Evaluating Committee in Education Area.
