The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the University of Birmingham and the University of Nottingham announce a new call for proposals to fund joint collaborative proposals involving research and the exchange of researchers under the scientific cooperation agreements among the institutions.

The call is open to interested researchers affiliated with the University of Birmingham and the University of Nottingham and researchers formally affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo, to submit research proposals in any discipline for the advancement of scientific knowledge.

The institutions will fund the selected proposals for up to two years.

In the State of São Paulo, the proposals must be submitted to FAPESP, following the Regular Research Award requirements, through the SAGe platform.

The deadline for submissions is April 12, 2019.
