Joint call with the British Council selects projects for the organization of workshops Versão em português

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the British Council, with the Newton Fund, announce the result of the FAPESP / Brazil – Newton Researcher Links (BNRL) Workshop 2018 call for proposals, which aimed at supporting the organization of research workshops. A total of ten proposals were selected.
The call for proposals was designed to bring together young researchers from the State of São Paulo and researchers from United Kingdom, building links for future collaborations and enhancing career opportunities. Fourteen thematic areas encompassing natural and social science, arts and humanities were considered by this call.
Co-funded by FAPESP and British Council, the events will take place in the State of São Paulo, between February 1, 2019 and January 31, 2020, in English, with duration of three to five days. The workshops will be coordinated by two leading researchers: one from a UK institution, and one working in a higher education or research institution in the State of São Paulo.
