FAPESP and Intel announced the result of a call for proposals issued in 2017 under the cooperation agreement between the institutions. 

This call for proposals aimed at fostering research on the novel approaches to employ Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) in the context of security and cryptography, and the associated vertical domains.

The development of compelling techniques and technologies based on FPGAs will help shape the future of security in areas such as Automotive, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Drones, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Data Centers.
